What does Broadband Multinet offer to business?
Broadband Multinet has the capability to deliver telephone and internet services over a number of different technology platforms ranging xDSL, fixed Wireless (WiMAX) and optical fibre. Services are subject to availability and are determined by Broadband Multinet during the sales engagement process.
There is a lot of talk about cloud computing, does Broadband Multinet offer a cloud solution today?
Our cloud solution is called miDesktop and offers end users a Windows 7 virtual desktop, Office 2010 and 24x7 secure storage access and virus protection. In addition, it has the ability to offer applications on demand (AOD) and comes with hosted Microsoft Exchange Email.

miDesktop offers companies the freedom to securely grow a corporate network without the geographic restriction. What is miDesktop?
miDesktop is Broadband Multinet’s innovative cloud solution that empowers business with the security, reliability and scalability to grow a corporate network at a fixed cost. Cloud computing is the future, eventually all mission critical information will reside safely within “The Cloud” with secure virus protection.

This eliminates the costly infrastructure burden especially for small to medium enterprises which is plagued with the ongoing cost of annual software licensing fees, continual hardware upgrade costs and ongoing administration cost of a specialist to look after their equipment.

What is miFibre?
miFibre is Broadband Mutlinet’s service offering in Greenfield estates, new high-rise apartments and commercial business parks . We currently offer ultra-fast Internet and the latest in IP telephony using optical fibre technology in selected developments.
Can anyone get a miFibre service?
At this stage we are only able to offer miFibre selected areas. The good news, these areas are growing all the time, so please contact us directly to see if our service is available in your area.

What is miRoam?
miRoam is an alternative to existing carrier roaming services and does not affect any existing contracts that you have in place with your current mobile provider. With miRoam, users can travel to any country overseas and your own mobile phone to make and receive calls at a reduced rate. This enables you to use your mobile phone without ending up with an expensive phone bill when you return to Australia.
How does it work?
miRoam gives you international mobile roaming, using only uses premium networks to provide quality voice across mobile roaming service, regardless of the country you are visiting. There are no restrictions on the countries that miRoam can be used in. Most importantly, you can receive calls on your current Australian mobile number and when you make calls back to Australia, the person you’re calling will see your Australian mobile number instead of the "Unknown Caller" ID.
Is this service a contract term or prepaid?
miRoam will be prepaid, giving you the power to top up credits as required whilst travelling. miRoam is currently getting the finishing touch and is due to be launched in early 2012.

I’m building a new home for a customer, is there anything I should know?
If you have never worked in a Broadband Multinet estate or apartment before, it is recommend you contact us on 1300 434 237 and speak with a Broadband Multinet representative.
Do I need to source my own technicians to install the fibre service?
No there is no need for a builder to hire their own technicians to install any fibre or provision services. As part of our quality control, Broadband Multinet will organise with our contracts to provision new services. This is to ensure that all new services are delivered in a timely manner and avoid delays in service activation. A builder is allowed to install an approved ONU (optical network unit) enclosure and terminate appropriate cablings in preparation for us to connect the new services. 
Does Broadband Multinet recommend any wiring topologies?
Broadband Multinet requires that builders complete our mandatory check list in order for us to proceed with processing a new order. Broadband Multinet is unable to deliver a service if these requirements have not been met. You can email us at support@multinet.com.au to obtain a copy of the Builders Checklist.
